1st Paysite Meetup Slated for May 4 in Prague

PRAGUE — Paysite Meetup, a new one-day event designed for paysite players and hosted by Vendo Services in association with XBIZ.net, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 4, in Prague.

Paysite Meetup is designed to allow professionals to come together to learn, discuss and answer questions affecting the paysite market. After the inaugural event, Paysite Meetup will continue on in other cities.

Topics for the May 4 event will include traffic, the paysite model, tube sites, discount sites, affiliates, membership vs. video-on-demand and media buying. Lunch and drinks in the evening will offer moments for attendees to mix with one another.

"We’re helping to launch the Paysite Meetup to create a valuable forum for paysite professionals,” said Thierry Arrondo, managing director of Vendo Services. “The event gives them a chance to meet as a group and discuss topics that are specific to their businesses.”

Paul from DDF Network, which operates numerous premium membership sites, said an event like Paysite Meetup is long overdue.

“I think the major benefit of a meetup is connecting with like-minded individuals dealing with the same or similar issues and putting our heads together to find solutions to the problems that face us all today,” Paul said. “I believe such a meet can only benefit those who attend.”
